That pales in comparison to the $2.85 Billion over 75 years (or $38 Million per year) that Gene Schulter and his fellow Daley Puppets voted to give away via the parking meter lease. He and the city council could have updated the meter system, raised the rates and kept the profits in the city vs. giving that profit away to private entities after years of mismanagement. Patricia, nice to hear he's fighting for the chambers, too bad he didn't do a better job fighting for the citizens of this city.
