School Nurses Concerned about CPS Outsourcing

The Chicago Board of Education held its monthly meeting, Wednesday Feb. 25, at 42 W Madison St.

The Chicago Teachers Union, along with active and retired school nurses, derided the Chicago Board of Education’s plan to outsource and privatize school nursing services, saying it is critical students have access to certified nurses in their schools and warning the board’s decision could create a health crisis in the schools.
