Meiling is majoring in Broadcast Journalism at Columbia College. She is a freelance fashion model, for print and runway projects, reporter in both the Chinese and English languages, and digital retoucher, living in the Chicago area. Meiling was born and raised in Northern China. She came to America at the age of 15 in the year 2007 when her mother married an American man. She started writing about her life in America, especially her teenage high school life that was so different from her life in China.
